We wish to thank all of those who have become Members of San Carlos Friends of the Library at the Life or Patron level, and annual member at the Sponsor or Contributor Level. Individuals who donate $250 or more during one calendar year qualify for a Life Membership. Annually, the names of new Life Members will be added to our Honor Wall. On Saturday, April 2, 2016, as part of the Grand Opening Celebration of the new San Carlos Branch of Mission Federal Credit Union, Angie Lasagna presented a check for $1000 to SCFOL President Joan Hayes and Treasurer Jerry Hotz. . SCFOL is looking forward to this partnership and will be adding their gift to the San Carlos Branch library’s book, equipment and program Matching Funds.

We thank the San Carlos Area Council for its $500 contribution to the San Carlos Branch Library. Managing Librarian Rita Glick accepted the check from SCAC representatives (from left), Jay Coulter, John Pilch, (Rita Glick) and Mickey Zeichek. In honor of the 40th Anniversary (January 9, 1974-2014) of the San Carlos Branch Library, Domusstudio Architecture Principals Lew Dominy, AIA & David Pfeifer, AIA, donated a new sign depicting the proposed new San Carlos Branch Library and Community Center to be built on the present library's site and extending to the corner of Golfcrest & Jackson.
