The San Carlos Branch Homework Center for the 2026 fall semester has reopened, Tuesday - Thursday 3 PM - 6 PM
Age Group:
Homework help is free to students (Grades K-8). Please email [email protected] for information about the Homework Help: 2026-2027 program. All children under 8 years of age must be adequately supervised by a responsible parent or caregiver 16 years or older.

The Chess Club for ages 18 and under meets in the SCBL Community Room, on the 2nd and 4th Tuesdays, 5-7 p.m. This is a great class for beginners, as well as for those looking to hone their skills. Continue Reading >
Learn, play, and create with Lego bricks! Explore new ideas and share concepts and strategies with other attendees. Each creation is put on display in the library for 2 weeks. Legos contain small objects that may present a choking hazard. This program is for children ages 6 and over. Parental supervision is suggested.
