NOVEMBER 14: Annual SCFOL General Membership meeting

MARK YOUR CALENDARS:  The 2018 General Membership meeting  of SCFOL was held on Wednesday, November 14  from 4:00-5:30 p.m., in the Winer Family Community Room & Art Gallery.  This year's super fun keynote speaker was Disney Artist and Illustrator, Terry Naughton, whose  award winning illustrations will be on display in our Art Gallery throughout November. PRES SEZ: Joan Hayes, 2018-year in review

 2018 has flown by and the San Carlos Friends of the Library (SCFOL) has had another busy year supporting the San Carlos Branch Library.  Branch event attendance continues to increase and we look forward to news about building a larger branch facility. SCFOL personnel changes this year include Bill Bischoff who took over as Volunteer Coordinator from retiring, Lee Ottman.  Bischoff is updating the SCFOL volunteer roster and looking for additional book sale helpers. SEPTEMBER 8, 2018: FSDPL Annual Volunteer Recognition

Carleen Hemric retires

We thank the many friends of Carleen Hemric for their contributions to SCFOL in her honor. We wish Carleen a peaceful retirement and thank her for the many years she taught our children, and her thousands of hours of volunteer work for the Friends including the Essay Contest, Board positions, and support of local authors.  Carleen will be greatly missed and a hard act to follow!
