On November 19, 2014, before the Annual Meeting of the General Membership of SCFOL, Rocky, Gene, and Michael Winer, sons of Jack & Carolyn Winer, unveiled new signage over the two entrances to the San Carlos Branch Library's community room, dedicating and renaming it the "WINER FAMILY Community Room & Art Gallery." Our next big SCFOL event was “Just Around the Corner, Craft Fair and Boutique," on Saturday, October 11, 204, from 9:00 to 3:00. Due to Library space restrictions, it was held “just around the corner” at the San Carlos United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall located at the corner of Navajo Rd. and Cowles Mountain Blvd. JAC fliers. The final numbers are in. The 2014 Summer Reading Program, "Paws to Read," brought hundreds of children and parents to the Wednesday afternoon programs and the Thursday special "Paws of San Carlos" programs. At the San Carlos Branch Library, 357 out of 591 youth, reached their summer reading goals; as did 71 of the 133 adults.
