History of the Foundation: The San Diego Public Library Foundation was launched in 2002 when a group of motivated and concerned community leaders joined to focus their energy and attention on providing private support to build an outstanding library system in San Diego. Branch Manage–David Ege, Year End Review

The San Carlos Branch Library was THE place for opportunity, discovery and inspiration in 2017. We had many participants at our monthly programs and great attendance at our feature events. Our annual Summer Reading Program helped children to bridge the gap between the school years and our adult patrons were entertained by our author and educational programs. NOVEMBER 15, 2017: SCFOL Annual General-Membership Meeting

This year's SCFOL Annual General-membership meeting will be held in the Winer Family Community Room and Art Gallery, on Wednesday, November 15, from 4:oo-5:30 p.m. The agenda will include the introduction of 2017 SCFOL Life Members.  They are: Anonymous, Jason Benesch, David Ege, Joseph Frazier, Lesley Frazier, Dr. Stuart Karasik, Barbara Morgan, Barbara Turner, and Jenean Unkefer.
