Wednesdays, 10-11 am, join our Mind-Body Fitness class. This is similar to our previous "chair yoga" class. Exercises are mostly performed standing, or sitting in a Chair. No mats are required. Gentle stretches and brain exercises improve health. Space is limited to 25 people per class. Be sure to get to the library a little early as this class fill up fast! Each month, the San Carlos Friends of the Library sponsors artists who show their works in the San Carlos Branch Library's Winer Family Community Room & Art Gallery which may be entered through the double doors in the Children's area or the doors just inside the left side entrance to the library. The art takes many forms and is not limited to watercolor, oils or photography. Admission is FREE to all Art shows and Receptions.

We are excited to have Colleen Swesey exhibiting her many beautiful quilts in the San Carlos Branch Library's Winer Family Community Room and Art gallery from February 5 through March 29. Swesey does not belong to quilting or art guilds but considers herself an artist and prefers to work alone.
