SCFOL BOOK SALE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
WHERE: San Carlos Branch Library
WHEN: During the week to sort donated books and/or on the first Saturday of every month, for 2-3 hours from 9:00 am, until all of the non-purchased items are boxed up and put away. Many hands will make the job go faster.

We welcome all SCFOL members to consider volunteering and assisting us in making our monthly USED BOOK SALES bigger and better than ever. Revenue from SCFOL book sales is the major source of funds needed to purchase books, programs and equipment for our branch library. In 2023, SCFOL Volunteers donated 4760 hours to the San Carlos Branch Library! We thank them one and all.

Open your INVITATION to join us in celebrating the 50th Anniversary of the San Carlos Branch Library on Saturday, January 13, 2024, from 1-4 pm. This is a Family Friendly event.

Lesley Ann Frazier (June 3, 1941- June 11, 2023) Lesley and her husband Joe, with their children Sara and Jamie, moved from Phoenix to San Diego in 1980. An avid reader and book club member, Lesley joined SCFOL as a Charter and later as a Life-Member of the San Carlos Friends of the Library; she was our first newsletter editor from 1982-86.
