2018’s One Book, One San Diego Selection

Farewell to Overdue Fines

Overdue Materials Policy: Beginning July 1, 2018, the San Diego Public Library is no longer charging users a daily overdue fee for items returned late. Under this new policy, items can be checked out for their standard loan period and, if eligible, renewed up to five times. Library cardholders are responsible for returning or renewing items to prevent their library card from being blocked or barred. FEBRUARY 24: Robotics Showcase Extravaganza

  What fun we had!  Many of the schools in the Patrick Henry High School Cluster support robotics teams where students are involved in every aspect of building robots and entering them in regional competitions.   Last year, the Patrick Henry High School Patribots robotics team won a regional competition which sent them to a national competition in Houston, Texas. Branch Manage–David Ege, Year End Review

The San Carlos Branch Library was THE place for opportunity, discovery and inspiration in 2017. We had many participants at our monthly programs and great attendance at our feature events. Our annual Summer Reading Program helped children to bridge the gap between the school years and our adult patrons were entertained by our author and educational programs.
