New Database Available

This electronic resource has genealogical and historical research guides and more than 1.5 billion names in over 4,000 databases!

One Book, One San Diego has announced the selections for the 2022 region-wide read: “The Vanishing Half” by Brit Bennett has been chosen for adult readers; “The Magic Fish” written and illustrated by Trung Le Nguyen for teens and tweens; and “We Are Water Protectors” by Carole Lindstrom and illustrated by Michaela Goade for children. 
Library System Update
The Central Library IDEA Lab is officially open! Patrons will be able to make, digitize, and create in our reimagined IDEA Lab space, now located on the 4th floor. Services are available Monday through Thursday by appointment only. Book an appointment today!
