SCFOL BOOK SALE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED

WHERE: San Carlos Branch Library WHEN: During the week to sort donated books and/or on the first Saturday of every month, for 2-3 hours from 9:00 am, until all of the non-purchased items are boxed up and put away. Librarian Albert Elguira Retires

Albert Elguira, another favorite librarian, is retiring October 4, 2022.  Albert, an expert chess player, has been encouraging San Carlos youngsters to learn and improve their chess skills at our Chess Club which meets 2nd & 4th Tuesdays from 5-7 pm.  He oversaw the Club's championship competition in Summer of 2022. DYHL Got HOMEWORK?? We've got help; click on Do Your Homework @ the Library to sign up for this FREE service.  In-person help at the San Carlos Branch Library, Monday-Thursday,  3-6 pm, for grades K-8.  Do you have a student that needs a bit of homework help? The Library offers free virtual homework help six days a week for K-8th graders.
