We’re excited to welcome Renita Gidlund as our new website editor! In 2025, she’ll be helping take over this duty from our publicity chair, Sue Hotz, to keep the website updated and easy to use.

Joan Hayes, after 7 years serving as our eighth SCFOL President, turned the President's gavel over to Bill Bischoff, who was elected to the President's position at our annual SCFOL General Membership meeting held at the San Carlos Branch Library, November 16, 2022. The numbers are in for the 2024 Summer Reading Program for the San Carlos Branch. We had 1190 registrations and 944 finishers. Congratulations to all. A whopping 952 youth and their families attended the 8 special summer programs offered this year at the San Carlos Branch Library. Thank you all for your attendance. See you again next year.

Congratulations to the 2023-2024 outstanding SCFOL volunteers, Marcy Andersen, Lara Ferguson, Leesa Mouw, and Kathy Ruiz. They were recognized at the June 8, 2024 FSDPL Annual Meeting. These wonderful volunteers have given freely, many hours of their time and talents to SCFOL. As of June 11, 2024, Andersen and Ruiz have also been elected to the SCFOL Board of Directors.
