Saturday, MAY 18, 10 am – 1 pm, the robots are returning to the San Carlos Branch Library. In the library’s lower parking lot at the corner of Jackson & Golfcrest, teams from local schools and the San Carlos neighborhood will display and explain their robot creations. Aguirre Tech will also be there demonstrating the action of their drones. Interactive STEM activities and a robot craft will be available in the Community Room. The current updated outside and inside designs of the proposed new San Carlos Branch Library can be seen on the SCFOL website. The new new designs were first revealed to the public at the August 5, 2023, "We bought the Lot" celebration held in the corner lot of Jackson & Golfcrest.

In 1988, Jack and Carolyn Winer made a few stops along the way, but finalized their retirement years in San Carlos in 1987. How lucky we were!
As it happened, their new home was in walking distance to the San Carlos Branch Library.
