Library Book Club
The library book club meets monthly on the 3rd Thursday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the Winer Family Community Room & Art Gallery. The current titles are on reserve at the front desk. Just ask the librarian for a copy and check it out. For more information, please call the library at 619-527-3430.

We also express our appreciation and gratitude for those who have sent us donations in honor or memory of others. Marcy Andersen was elected to the San Carlos Friends of the Library Board in 2024, to assume the responsibilities of our longtime Officer and Board Secretary, Evie McGhee, who served SCFOL in this capacity for over 20 years. March 4, 2025, San Carlos Area Council (SCAC) President Mickey Zeichick , presented SCFOL Board Member and past Treasurer Jerry Hotz, with a check from SCAC in memory of Jack and Kitty Mones. Jack Mones served the San Carlos Community for more than 15 years, and passed December 20, 1995, followed by Kitty in 2014.

With DiscoverU, the San Diego Public Library encourages youth (grades 3-12) and emerging adults (ages 18-25) to explore their interests and achieve their highest potential.
