SD Libraries Will Lose Funding in 2026

Negotiations are still underway before the City of San Diego's final 2025-26 fiscal year budget is voted on June 10.  As a result of previous City Council budget meetings,  the San Diego Public Library system is scheduled to lose $8million in funding.  As of July 1, 2025, this loss of funding may result in the closing of all 37 Branch Libraries on Sunday and Monday, but will allow  programs and services to remain the same Tuesday-Saturday. Thanks to all who attended this FUNRAISER.  We made $120.50 by you enjoying lunch/dinner at a wonderful local restaurant. Wednesday, October 26, let the La Mesa Souplantation do the cooking.  All day, Souplantation will contribute 30% of our event sales to SCFOL. THERE WERE OVER  100 ENTRIES TO THE Pumpkin Who?
