Saturday May 7, is FREE COMIC BOOK DAY at the San Carlos Branch library. Come in any time from 9:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m. to pick up your free comic book while the supply lasts. Our 4th, In-person ROBOTICS Showcase Extravaganza, co-sponsored by the San Carlos Branch Library and the Henry Cluster STEMM Foundation, will be held on Saturday, April 9th, 10 am - 1 pm, in the San Carlos Branch Library's Lower Parking Lot. The chain link fence erected in January around the Jackson and Golfcrest corner lot has been removed. This hopefully indicates that the remediation equipment has been removed, and the remediation company can submit its final report to the Water Quality Control Board. If the WQCB agrees that remediation is complete, this will allow them to issue a "No Further Action" certificate for the property.
