The library book club meets monthly on the 3rd Thursday from 12:30-1:30 p.m. in the Winer Family Community Room & Art Gallery. The current titles are on reserve at the front desk. Just ask the librarian for a copy and check it out. For more information, please call the library at 619-527-3430.

SCFOL Can Help You Double Your Donation Dollars
Annually, the San Carlos Friends of the Library donates to the San Carlos Branch Library. Most of these funds, and those donated by other Friends chapters, are sent to the Library Foundation and annually matched by the City of San Diego, up to the City's budgeted amount.. This is called the City of San Diego Library Matching Fund. We Love SCFOL Volunteers
We welcome all SCFOL members to consider volunteering and assisting us in making our monthly USED BOOK SALES bigger and better than ever. Revenue from SCFOL book sales is the major source of funds needed to purchase books, programs and equipment for our branch library. In 2024, about 75 dedicated SCFOL Volunteers donated 4426 hours to the San Carlos Branch Library! We thank them one and all.

The numbers are in for the 2024 Summer Reading Program for the San Carlos Branch. We had 1190 registrations and 944 finishers. Congratulations to all.
