November 5-December 1: Crafter, Mallory Green
From November 5-December 1, a very different art form by Mallory Green will be on display in the Winer Family Community Room & Art Gallery of the San Carlos Branch Library.
Green’s works are woven together using a variety of materials to form wonderful wall hangings. Crafters and artists alike will enjoy meeting Mallory at her Artist Reception, Saturday, November 15, noon – 2:00 PM, to discuss her technique and how she came to be interested in this hobby.
Green is a multi-disciplinary artist from Fletcher Hills, now based in Mount Helix, CA. She works primarily in woven textiles, stained glass, and beadwork, creating art that explores the interplay of texture, color, and light. Her pieces are both visually compelling and deeply symbolic, drawing inspiration from nature, spirituality, and the healing power of craft.
Each creation is a deeply thoughtful process for Mallory–infused with intention and made by hand, thread by thread, shard by shard. Her work invites viewers to slow down, reflect, and connect with the quiet energy of the handmade. Whether display in galleries, sacred spaces, or private collections, her art offers a meaningful reminder of the beauty found in presence and process.
