CONGRATULATIONS  Chess Tournament Winners.  The Chess Club for ages 18 and under meets in the SCBL Community Room, monthly on the 2nd and 4th Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. DATES in July - Sept  and Oct - Dec .  Stories & Yoga   Wednesdays from 2:30-3:315pm, for ages 3-8. Kids love this program and there's plenty of room.   Join us for story-inspired stretches, music, and child-friendly props! 1000 Books Before Kindergarten

 A literacy program for pre-readers, ages 5 and under.  1000 Books Before Kindergarten   is a reading incentive program that encourages parents to read 1000 books to their children before they begin Kindergarten.  The program is based upon evidence from research findings that the more young children hear books read to them, the more prepared they will be to learn to read upon reaching kindergarten.
