JANUARY, 2017: The NEW San Carlos Branch Library's design  was presented to the Community by David Pfeifer, AIA, from Domusstudio Architecture, at the Navajo Community Planners' meeting held at the Tifereth Israel Synagogue  on Wednesday, January 11 at 6:30 p.m.  We thank all of those who attended. Families are invited to join us for an afternoon of arty fun in celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month! This rendition of the new San Carlos Branch library is currently appearing on the sign on the corner of Golfcrest and Jackson.  It was created by the Domusstudio Architects.  They are the design architects for the new library.  Their latest concept is similar to the one shown: a one story 25,000 sq. ft. building covering both the current and corner lots, with approximately seventy parking spaces split between the upper current lot and under the building on the corner lot. ... San Carlos Library History

January 9, 2014, will be the 40th Anniversary of the opening of the San Carlos Branch Library in San Diego, CA.  We are planning a year-long celebration with many activities.
