January Speaker OASIS Retired Philosophy Professor, Bruce McGraw, will discuss the meaning of a series of Socratic concepts and how to apply them to understanding and living the good life. This class will be primarily a discussion class as we probe together the validity and meaning of the Socratic vision. OASIS is a national educational organization dedicated to enriching the lives of adults age 50 and older through lifelong learning, active lifestyles, and service  They offer programs in the arts, humanities, health and wellness, technology and volunteer service.
