Read to a therapy dog! Studies show that children can improve their confidence and reading skills by reading aloud to animals. Dogs make the perfect nonjudgmental audience. All dogs are provided by the San Diego Humane Society. Ages 5 and up.
Registration is required. Choose one 20-minute reading session when you register: 2:30–2:50, 2:50–3:10 or 3:10–3:30 PM. Space is limited to help keep our canine friends comfortable.
