APRIL 9: ROBOTICS Showcase Extravaganza

Our 4th, In-person ROBOTICS Showcase Extravaganza, co-sponsored by the San Carlos Branch Library and the Henry Cluster STEMM Foundation, will be held on Saturday, April 9th, 10 am – 1 pm, in the San Carlos Branch Library’s Lower Parking Lot.  Additional interactive STEM activities will be happening in the library’s Winer Family Community Room. The public is invited to join us in this FREE, super fun event.

Robotics teams help young people develop skills in engineering, coding and construction. Local robotics teams will showcase their robots and demonstrate the tasks they have been programed to perform. Come learn how to get your children involved in this exciting career path.  Multiple levels of competition  will be represented including from the FLL (First Lego League- grades 4-7) will be the Mechanical Meatloafs and Garage Engineers; and from the FTC (First Tech Challenge, grades 7-12) will be Ddapper RoboNoodles, Wizalos, Rise of Hephaestus, and Botcats.  More to follow.

Please contact Managing Librarian, David Ege, at [email protected] or (619)527-3433 if you know of a Navajo Robotics group that would like to participate in this RoboticsEvent
