November 29 at 10:30: A Book and a Ballerina
Join City Ballet of San Diego for "A Book and a Ballerina"! Enjoy listening to a read-aloud, hearing from a professional ballerina, and learning some basic dance steps. This hour-long program is an introduction to the world of classical ballet for kids in grades Pre-K through 5th.

Join us for fun and engaging STEM presentations and projects at the library!
On the third Tuesday of the month from 4:00-5:00, elementary and middle school students will work on a variety of science and math activities. This program is hosted by the Patrick Henry High School Junior Innovators Club with materials funded by SCFOL.

On Saturday, May 17, the SCBL held its 8th Robotics Extravaganza. Over 263 people attended the show brought to you by the efforts of the San Carlos Branch Library’s Managing Librarian, David Ege as well as 10 robotics teams, Aguirretech flying drones, and the MCAS Miramar Bomb Squad. With DiscoverU, the San Diego Public Library encourages youth (grades 3-12) and emerging adults (ages 18-25) to explore their interests and achieve their highest potential.
