JANUARY Artist: Drew Bandish and “Drew’s Art Pals”
January 8 – February 3, popular San Diego retired art instructor Drew Bandish and a group of his students, Drew’s Art Pals, will fill the San Carlos Branch Library’s Winer Family Community Room & Art Gallery with their wonderful watercolors and colored pencil drawings. Don’t miss their show which will include Plein Air paintings of familiar San Diego locals. Bandish has taught art classes at local adult education & community college programs. Voted an Outstanding Instructor by students and staff, Drew is proud of the numerous success stories among his students and artist acquaintances, including SCFOL’s own Art Director, Barbara Stewart. Drew maintains contact with the art community and takes joy in painting with his creative friends.
Bandish is a Signature Member and Past President of San Diego Watercolor Society, and an elected Life Member of Foothills Art Association in La Mesa, and is frequently called upon to demonstrate art methods, conduct workshops and serve as juror for art exhibitions throughout San Diego County.
