AUGUST 2023: New Branch Library Update “We Bought the Lot!”
SAVE the DATE: August 5, from 10 a.m. to noon. Join your Navajo neighbors on the lot at the corner of Golfcrest and Jackson to hear a long-awaited-announcement from those who are in the know. “We Bought the Lot Celebration.” Starting at 10:15 a.m., special guests and speakers include Congresswoman Sara Jacobs, Mayor Todd Gloria, and Councilmember Raul Campillo.
- Preliminary renderings of the new 25,000 sq. ft. San Carlos branch Library will be on display.
- SCFOL volunteers will pass out roses and explain the significance of their history to the lot and the new library. Stop by their booth for cookies and a water.

- Afterwards, walk up to the library and browse our monthly SCFOL Used Book Sale. We have lots to choose from, and the revenue supports the library.
- ODI the Coyote will be there too with activities for the kids.

We know the City is behind our new library project, but right now they are conducting an infrastructure prioritization survey so citizens can let them know what they should build first. It is an opportunity to tell the City that building libraries is important. Click on INFRASTRUCTURE SURVEY
