SCFOL Publicity Chair Needed
Last year our call for help was answered. Volunteers came forward to fill San Carlos Friends of the Library (SCFOL) Officer, Board and Chair positions vacated by those retiring after many years of service.
This year, we are in immediate need of a Publicity Chair to maintain this website and oversee the continuation of the SCFOL Newsletters. Successful candidates should have the following skill sets:
· Basic understanding of computer programing.
· Familiar with website design programs. SCFOL uses WordPress.
· Familiar with Newsletter creation. Currently, Linda Gidlund is our awesome volunteer who works with the Publicity Chair to create our monthly newsletters and is willing to continue doing so.
· Enjoys writing occasional articles.
· Interacts regularly with library staff and SCFOL Chairs to assist in meeting their publicity needs.
· Monthly reports publicity activities to SCFOL Board.
· Complete training will be given to assist in the transition.
