  • March 25 2:30-3:30:  Saving Conures through Conservation: Learn all about San Diego’s wild parrots, including three species of conures native to the rain-forests in South America.  We will also discuss ways to practice conservation in our everyday lives, plus meet a real parrot ambassador!  Followed by a pinecone bird treat craft.  Led by SoCal Parrot.  Ages 5-12.

  • Friday, April 3, 10-11am, Miniature Horse Storytime:  A mini horse is coming to the library!  Get  ready for a very special storytime as we welcome nonprofit organization, Hearts & Hooves.  There will be books, crafts, and a chance for every child in attendance to pet and interact with the horse.  Don’t miss this unique opportunity!  All ages.

  • Bunny Who?  Entire month of April:  Join us for a spring scavenger hunt!  Find the nine bunnies that are hiding in the library.  Each is dressed up as a book character!  Then pick up a contest form and submit it for entry in a raffle prize drawing.  For youth of all ages.

  • Saturday, May 2, 9:30-6:00: Free Comic Book Day @ the Library:  Discover the amazing world of comic books!  Stop by the library all day long to pick up your free comic book.  Drop in 1-3 p.m., and you can make a comics craft, too.  All ages.
