Craft Fairs: 2013-2014

San Carlos Library Craft Fair

Our 2013 Craft Fairs were such a success, that the San Carlos Friends of the Library  planned another one, “JUST AROUND THE CORNER,  CRAFT FAIR & BOUTIQUE,” on Saturday, October 11, 2014, from 9:00-3:00 p.m.  This one promises to be bigger and better than the last.  Due to the space restrictions at the San Carlos Branch Library, the SCFOL Craft Fair will be held in the Fellowship Hall of the San Carlos United Methodist Church, located at  6554 Cowles Mountain Blvd., San Diego, CA 92119 (on the corner of Navajo Rd & Cowles Mt. Blvd.). Our chairperson is Ruth George and her wonderful committee members include Rita Glick,  Sandy Gillins, and Joan Hayes. We invite you to join us in selling your hand crafted items, or in buying crafts made by others. There will also be  opportunity drawings for baskets filled with craft and other items.  We chose this date to help kick-start you holiday shopping, so check us out–we’ll be looking for you “JUST AROUND THE CORNER” on October 11, 2014.

Some basic information for prospective 2014 crafters:  Types of Crafters:  Whatever is sold must be made by the crafter. This will be a juried event, and we will be limiting the number of crafters in any one category. Spaces: We  suggest  a donation ranging  from $25 to $60 depending upon the size of your space requirement. Special Request: We request that each crafter donate at least one item (valued at approximately $20) to SCFOL which will be used for the opportunity drawings.
