SCFOL annually donates funds, matched by the City of San Diego, to support the SDPL system. The source of SCFOL funds is revenue from your memberships, donations and SCFOL Used Book Sale purchases. These funds return to our Branch and allow for the purchase of materials, programs, and equipment.

Lesley Ann Frazier (June 3, 1941- June 11, 2023) Lesley and her husband Joe, with their children Sara and Jamie, moved from Phoenix to San Diego in 1980. An avid reader and book club member, Lesley joined SCFOL as a Charter and later as a Life-Member of the San Carlos Friends of the Library; she was our first newsletter editor from 1982-86.
