APRIL Activities @ San Carlos Branch Library

  LIBRARY HOURS: Monday & Tuesdays: 11:30 am - 8:00 pm;   Wednesday thru Saturday: 9:30 am - 6:00 pm. The library is now open at 100% occupancy, and water fountains are open. May 7: Free Comic Book Day

  Saturday May 7, is FREE COMIC BOOK DAY at the San Carlos Branch library. Come in any time from 9:30 a.m.-6:00 p.m. to pick up your free comic book while the supply lasts. APRIL 9: ROBOTICS Showcase Extravaganza

Our 4th, In-person ROBOTICS Showcase Extravaganza, co-sponsored by the San Carlos Branch Library and the Henry Cluster STEMM Foundation, will be held on Saturday, April 9th, 10 am - 1 pm, in the San Carlos Branch Library's Lower Parking Lot.  Additional interactive STEM activities will be happening in the library's Winer Family Community Room. CONGRATULATIONS to Winter Reading Challenge participants

The SDPL's  January, 2022 Winter Reading Challenge (WRC) was  Read for a Better World. This annual program was for readers of all ages thtat encouraged readers  to explore diversity empathy, and action through literature. This year, there were 7853 Participants and 6175 Finishers!  That is a 78% completion rate! CONGRATULATIONS! Last year we had 6,827 participants and 4192 Finishers (61% completion rate) and our program ran for 2 months instead of the usual one month.   Continue Reading >
