All about ARTat the San Carlos Branch Library

Each month, the San Carlos Friends of the Library sponsors artists who show their works in the San Carlos Branch Library's Winer Family Community Room & Art Gallery which may be entered through the double doors in the Children's area or the doors just inside the left side entrance to the library. Listed receptions are held on the 3rd Saturday of the month, noon-2 pm, in the Library's Art Gallery.  Refreshments are served. FEBRUARY 6- MARCH 1: Zandra Gilmaher

 Native Californian, Zandy Gilmaher, paints with rich oil paint, fluid watercolors and bold ink. “I’ve always had an artistic view of my world, often with a bit of whimsy. APRIL 10-MAY 3: Maria Louisa Dominguez & Barbara Stewart

Maria Louisa Dominguez was born in El Centro, raised in Calexico, and graduated from Imperial Valley College with an Associate Degree in Business. Maria is an accomplished watercolor and pastel artist as well as a photographer. After retiring from her professional career in 2002, she moved to San Diego.
