Longer LIBRARY Hours in 2016

Starting Saturday, January 9, the Saturday hours for the San Carlos Branch Library will be 9:30 am to 6:00 pm.  All other days remain the same.  "Beginning Monday, January 4, 2016 San Diego Public Library will have additional open hours. NOVEMBER 5: Farewell to Managing Librarian, Rita Glick

2015 One Book, One San Diego Selection

Have you started reading the 2015 One Book, One San Diego selection?  This year’s book, The Shadow of the Wind by Carlos Ruiz Zafón, is a literary thriller set in Barcelona in the first half of the 20th century. SUMMER READING PROGRAM Wrap-up

The Summer Reading Program ended on August 15.  A total of 416 patrons finished and recorded their summer reading goals out of the 708, in all age groups, who signed up. Despite the inconvenience of on-going construction, 499 attended the Wednesday SRP special programs and 150 youth joined Ms. Megan in our new Process Art program which will continue during the Fall.
